This policy explains what personal data Confluxis collects, why it is used, how long it is kept and the choices available to you.
Who controls your data
Confluxis is responsible for personal data used to operate accounts, billing, communications and this website. When a merchant connects commerce or advertising data, Confluxis processes that data on the merchant’s instructions to provide the service. Data we collect
We collect information you provide, including your name, work email, company, account credentials, support messages and billing details supplied to our payment provider. When you connect a store or advertising service, we process the commerce, product, customer, order, refund, inventory, campaign and cost data needed to provide the service. We also collect basic technical, security and usage data such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and product interactions.
Why we use it
We use data to create and secure accounts, verify email ownership, review access requests, provide analytics, operate integrations, process payments, answer support requests, prevent abuse and improve reliability. The legal basis may be performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with law or consent where required.
Payments and service providers
Payments are processed by Stripe; Confluxis does not store full payment-card numbers. We may use vetted providers for hosting, databases, email delivery, monitoring, security and customer support. Providers may process data only for contracted purposes and are expected to protect it appropriately.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where required, Confluxis relies on recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and local storage
The service uses essential cookies or similar storage for login sessions, security and account functionality. Optional analytics or marketing technologies will be used only where permitted and, when required, after consent.
Retention
Account and service data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to provide support, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes. Retention periods may vary where law requires a longer record.
Security
We use measures designed to protect data, including encrypted transport, restricted access, password hashing, short-lived verification codes, request limits and security monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Account and connected-data deletion
You may ask us to close your account and delete eligible connected data. We may retain limited billing, fraud-prevention, security and legal records where required or reasonably necessary. Deleting Confluxis does not delete data held independently by Shopify, advertising platforms, Stripe or other third parties.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Children and changes
Confluxis is a business service and is not intended for children under 16. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change; material changes will be communicated when appropriate.
